If you’re looking for an Insulated IBC Jacket, then this is a perfect solution. This particular jacket is for a standard 1000-liter IBC, approx. 1000x1200x1160mm. Coming supplied with flaps to access the top and bottom inlets/outlets, this is a fantastic and easy-to-use product. Made from a cross-laminate polyethylene, the cover is tear, flame, and water resistant, which all help protect your contact from harsh conditions. Of course, the key advantage to this Insulated IBC Jacket is that it can withstand temperatures of -35° to +75°C. So if you store your product in cold conditions, the inner insulation layer of the jacket will protect it from frost. Likewise, if storing in direct sunlight, the outer silver layer is designed to reflect sunlight and keep the inside cool. As well as providing an insulation layer, these jackets will also protect from dust and dirt during storage and transportation. Another advantage of the Insulated IBC Jackets is the slowdown or prevention of algae growth, which can be a common issue when storing water-based products in an IBC during the summer months. Storing an IBC outside in direct sunlight can cause algae growth. However, by using our Insulated IBC Jackets, the outer layer will reflect sunlight and help insulate the contents.

- Inner Thermal Layer Ref: No. BTB280. This has a CLO (warmth) factor equal to 2.00 or the same as the standard BSI 0.407m2.K/W. (9.5TOG) BTB280 = heat loss approx. ¼ °C per hour if filled at ambient, after 12 hours increases to ½ °C per hour
